Located 10 minutes South of Sligo town at the busy seaside surfing village of Strandhill, The Strand Inn is a well established Irish pub run by the Byrne family.

The brief was to design and fit-out a substantial extension to the rear of the premises in an old traditional Irish style as a series of nooks and crannies to accommodate a mix of food and drinking trade.

Salvaged bar counters were fitted to link to the existing front bar service area. A fire place built in local stone sub-divides the main area of the extension. Glazed screens and wall panelling formed separate seating areas.A mix of old and new fixtures and fittings were used to complete this old world atmosphere of a truly Irish bar.
