Irish Pub Design - Molly Malone's

On foot of long associations with Ireland, mainly through his well-known food company, Euraco Finefoods, Sebastian Tan commissioned Angela Murphy Design Associates to design and fit out the first Irish pub in Singapore, Molly Malone's.

The project comprised of combining three separate shop units into a traditional shop style Irish pub in dark timber fittings and decked with original Irish memorabilia, a first floor restaurant and a second floor private club room. Pleased with the outcome and having returned from successfully overcoming the many logistics encountered in fitting-out a pub in this fine city, Angela related that she felt very much like Christopher Columbus discovering America!

Sebastian strives for authenticity and excellence in everything he does. Since its establishment in 1995, Molly Malone's has been featured in the 1997 Guinness worldwide calendar, been awarded the Newsweek best new pub in Singapore 1995, and awarded by the Singapore Tourism Board the distinction of a landmark nightspot in Singapore.
