This entirely new interior was created from carefully selected salvage fixtures and fittings collected from old closed down shop and pub interiors around Ireland.

After construction and before opening night, the all important clear out, was momentarily interrupted by a passing motorist (an architect as it turned out) who came rushing in exclaiming; 'what are you doing ripping out this great old pub?' The carpenters took some time to convince him that they had just finished building it.

We have not the words to describe it. Suffice to say; imagine listening to an early picnic model Gramophone playing 78's of John McCormack or a Jazz version of The Old Rugged Cross whilst enjoying an evening there complimented with an excellent short draw Guinness from under the counter. Many a good night was had by all.
